If you're looking to find the version of QuickBooks you are currently running, you can easily find it by starting up QuickBooks. Once opened, you will notice a menu at the top of the QuickBooks window.

From this window, click on Help then navigate to the bottom of that drop-down menu. You will see something that says "About QuickBooks XXXX", click it! A new window will pop up showing your QuickBooks version, both year and type (pro, premier, etc).
